Jeffrey Dahmer was one of the most notorious American serial killers. Between 1978 and 1991, Dahmer killed 17 boys and men, many of whom were of Asian or African descent. However it wasn’t the body count that made him such a notorious serial killer. It was the way he tortured and raped his victims before death found them. It was also about how he dismembered his victims and practiced necrophilia and cannibalism on them.

Jeffrey Dahmer Biography

Born as Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer on May 21, 1960 in West Allis, Wisconsin to Lionel Herbert Dahmer and Joyce Annette (née Flint), Jeffrey Dahmer grew up to be a normal child. However as the relationship between his parents grew cold, so did his feelings of neglect and withdrawal. His family moved to Bath, Ohio when he was 8 year old. Uninterested in social interactions with other children from the neighborhood he was new into, Jeffrey rode around on his bicycle, collecting dead animals for dissection. Some he brought back home (like a good household cat), some he played with in the woods. At one point, he impaled a dog’s head on a stake.

When he became a teenager, Jeffrey Dahmer started to abuse alcohol. Tension between his parents escalated resulting in bitter divorce which only strengthened the boy’s feeling of abandonment. His mother took Jeffrey’s younger brother and left without a trace, leaving vulnerable Dahmer to stay with his father who left the family long time ago. Having no means to contact his mother or brother, Jeffrey felt lost and rejected.

By the time of his high school graduation, Jeffrey Dahmer was an alcoholic. He dropped out of the Ohio State University after one quarter, having failed to attend most of his classes because he was constantly drunk. Since giving him education didn’t go over so well, Jeffrey’s father enlisted his son in the army. He was a decent soldier (army medic), but his excessive alcoholism resulted in a discharge after two years in service. He felt no emotional connection to his father, so after his discharge in 1981, Jeffrey Dahmer headed for Miami, Florida to avoid living in cold weather. He continued drinking and was arrested a few months later for drunk and disorderly conduct.

Jeffrey moved in with his grandmother Shari Dahmer in 1982. She said Jeffrey was a gentle person but when he got drunk (which was often), it took four policemen to hold him down. In 1982 and 1986, Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested for indecent exposure, the latter involving masturbation in front of two boys.

Jeffrey Dahmer’s Murders

Jeffrey Dahmer committed his first murder when he was 18 years old. It was shortly after his parent’s divorce – his mother and his brother moved out and his father was on a business trip. Having the house in Bath Township, Ohio all for himself and feeling alone, Jeffrey picked up a hitchhiker named Stephen Hicks, took him to the house and killed him with a barbell because the guest wanted to leave. Once Stephen Hicks was dead, Jeffrey Dahmer smashed his bones with a hammer and buried the body in the backyard. He wouldn’t kill again for 9 years.

His second victim was 24 year old Steven Toumi. Jeffrey met him in a gay bar in 1987. Gay bars offered great settings where he could approach young homosexual or bisexual males, ask them to come over to his place for beers or offer them money to pose for photos, drug them into a deep sleep with spiked drinks, strangle or stabbed them while they were out and unleash his sexual fantasies on the cadaver. When he was done having anal sex with fresh corpses, he would dismember them with a hacksaw, usually keeping their genitalia and heads as trophies. Lean muscles would be stored in a freezer to be eaten as food. Whatever was left was boiled with acids and/or other chemicals and flashed down the drain. Sometimes, if his victim did not die instantly, he would drill a hole in the victim’s skull and paralyze the brain with boiling water or hydrochloric acid. The victim would remain alive for several days, but in a zombie like state.

While staying with his grandmother, Jeffrey Dahmer continued collecting dead animals and dissecting them in her basement which caused foul smell throughout the house. Coupled with his strange behavior and late nights, the grandmother asked him to move out. On September 25, 1988, while employed as a worker at the Ambrosia Chocolate Factory, Jeffrey moved into an apartment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. One day later, he was arrested for drugging and sexually exploiting a 13 year old Laotian boy named Somsack Sinthasomphone. That made him a registered sex offender and landed him with one year in a work release camp and five years probation. He was released on a parole two months early, moved into a new apartment and began his most prolific string of murders. The apartment’s address is now infamous (though the building has been torn down):

After his scuffle with the above mentioned 13 year old boy Somsack Sinthasomphone which landed Jeffrey Dahmer with 10 months long incarceration and a registration as a sex offender, Jeffrey took a hold of Somsack’s younger brother, now 14 year old Konerak Sinthasomphone and brought him home for another one of his fantasy butt sex sessions from hell. Heavily drugged and bleeding profusely out of his ass after a little rectal massage from Jeffrey Dahmer’s stiffy, Konerak Sinthasomphone escaped and was discovered wandering down the street naked in the early morning hours of May 27, 1991 by 18 year old Sandra Smith and her cousin of the same age – Nicole Childress. The teens called 911, as even though the Asian boy could not speak any English, the state he was in sent strong signals that something was not right.

Dahmer, who was 31 at the time, chased the boy down the street and got to him before the police arrived. The girls who alerted the police got in the way and halted the escort until the police arrived. Dahmer told them that the boy was his 19 year old boyfriend, that they were drinking and got in an argument so he walked out of his apartment naked and under influence. The police failed to verify the boy’s age and run a background check on Dahmer which would have revealed that he was a registered child molester still under probation. Instead, they swallowed Dahmer’s story and took both men back to Dahmer’s apartment – despite protests from the girls who called 911. The police noted strange smell when they walked inside Dahmer’s apartment, but did nothing to investigate it. As became clear later, the smell was caused by the corpse of Tony Hughes – Dahmer’s previous victim whose decomposing body he still kept in the bedroom. Had the police done their due diligence, Konerak Sinthasomphone as well as four subsequent victims would not have been murdered.

Jeffrey Dahmer’s Arrest

Encouraged by the success with Konerak Sinthasomphone whom he strangled to death, dismembered and beheaded to keep his skull as a trophy, Jeffrey Dahmer went on a killing spree almost averaging one victim per week. He killed Matt Turner on June 30, 1991, then Jeremiah Weinberger on July 5, 1991, then Oliver Lacy on July 12, 1991 and finally Joseph Brandehoft on July 19, 1991. His next victim was to be 32 year old Tracy Edwards, whom he lured into his apartment on July 22, 1991. With this bad boy things didn’t go quite the way Jeffrey would have liked, though.

When Robert Rauth and Rolf Mueller, the cops from the Milwaukee police department drove through the neighborhood where Dahmer lived, they noticed a dazed black male wandering around with one handcuff on his hand, they knew something wasn’t right. They asked Tracy Edwards what happened to him and were told that he was invited into an apartment of some weird dude with whom he watched movies, but was then drugged and the weird dude tried to handcuff him. He resisted and slipped away, so the dude threatened him with a knife. Tracy Edwards retracted to the bedroom where he saw the wall covered with Polaroid pictures of mangled bodies. There was a large blue barrel by the wall from which a horrible smell was coming out. Wielding a large butcher knife, the weird dude tried to attack him, but Tracy Edwards fought back, punched him in the face and kicked him in the stomach, affording himself a way to escape from there, though still wearing a handcuff on one wrist.

Tracy Edwards lead the police to the apartment where they were greeted by friendly acting Jeffrey Dahmer. He told them that he just lost the job at the chocolate factory (which was true) and the stress it caused made him lose temper and overreact. The police asked him to get the key from the handcuffs so they could be removed from Tracy Edwards’ hand. Jeffrey went to his bedroom, but was followed by one of the cops who noticed all the Polaroid photos of dismembered bodies all over the wall and was overwhelmed by the stench of rotting flesh coming out of the room. He proceeded to further inspect the apartment and had his attention caught by a fridge covered with more gruesome Polaroid photos. The shock came when he opened said fridge. There was a severed human head on the shelf. The officer screamed at his partner to which Jeffrey Dahmer responded by fighting his way out of there. He was restrained and apprehended.

Thorough inspection revealed three more heads and human flesh in the freezer. Several hands and a penis were found in a stockpot in a closet. Two gray-painted boiled skulls were found on a shelf in a bedroom closet. More penises were found preserved in formaldehyde. But most of all – there were hundreds of gory photos of his victims which Jeffrey Dahmer photographed while they were alive, while they were being murdered, and after they were dead. In his closet, the police also discovered an altar of human skulls and candles. Jeffrey Dahmer allegedly planned to use the skulls to build a shrine.

Jeffrey Dahmer’s Trial

Dahmer admitted to every crime he had committed. He made no excuses and blamed nobody but himself. He was indicted on 17 murder charges, but found guilty on 15. He entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity but the court rejected his plea on February 17, 1992 and sentenced him to 15 life terms in jail, which would add up to 957 years behind bars. The state of Wisconsin does not have capital punishment.

Jeffrey Dahmer’s Murder

Jeffrey Dahmer served his long sentence at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin. He was murdered on November 28, 1994 while serving his time by inmate Christopher Scarver who attacked him and another inmate named Jesse Anderson with a broom stick, killing both. Christopher Scarver said he was acting on God’s command to kill Dahmer.

Junko Furuta was a 16 year old Japanese girl who underwent 44 days of rape and torture before dying in the hands of her captors on November 22, 1989. Known throughout Japan as concrete-encased high school girl, the case of Junko Furuta (古田 順子) drew nationwide attention owing to sheer brutality the girl had to endure before death found her. There are only a few crime scene pictures of the murder, but whatever there is, is shared in the gallery below.

Junko Furuta Story

Junko Furuta attended a high school in Misato, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She was a good looking, active teenager who enjoyed a lot of attention and that made some people jealous. She did not smoke, did not drink alcohol and did not do drugs which was seen as very uncool in the eyes of more gangster like teens. One of them – Hiroshi Miyano had a crush on her but not looking for a relationship, Junko Furuta turned him down. Hiroshi Miyano was the bully in the school and being involved with the new generations of the Yakuza, nobody dared to oppose him. And Junko Furuta had the nerve to say “No”…

On November 25, 1988 she was kidnapped by 4 teenage boys – one of them being Hiroshi Miyano. The boys took Junko Furuta to the house owned by the parents of one of the kidnappers in the Ayase district of Adachi, Tokyo.

While in captivity, the kidnapers forced Junko Furuta to call her parents and tell them that she’d run away and is going to stay with a friend, but insist that she’s not in danger. Not able to realize what was coming and too scared to remain non-compliant, Junko did exactly as she was told, ultimately forestalling a manhunt which would have otherwise followed her disappearance.

Parents of Nobuharu Minato in whose house Junko Furuta was kept paid their son a visit on a few occasions but under a threat of increased violence against her, Junko was requested to pretend that she was a girlfriend of one of the boys. However even when it became apparent that she was a captive in the house, the parents did nothing for fear of retaliation from Hiroshi Miyano who was known to have the Yakuza connections.

During the course of 44 days following her kidnapping, Junko Furuta was forced to withstand unspeakable suffering. What she went through before murder included:

• Was humiliated by being kept naked most of the time
• Was raped every day in both vagina and anus. More than 100 men are believed to have raped her – the captor with Yakuza connections is said to have invited other Yakuza members to have a go at a 16 year old. She’s estimated to have gone through about 500 rapes. At one point she was raped by 12 different men in one day
• Endured physical beatings included hits with golf clubs and bashing of face against cement floor
• The 100 men who are believed to have raped her had also reportedly enjoyed urinating on the girl
• Frequently, in order to turn her rapists on, she was forced to masturbate in front of them and/or their guests
• Had various objects forced into her vagina and anus, including a bottle, an iron bar, scissors, roasting needles, grilled chicker skewers, etc.
• Was provided with only limited supply or food or water
• Was forced to eat live cockroaches and drink her own urine
• Had fireworks forced up her ass and set them off, causing serious burns
• Had her left nipple ripped off with pliers
• Had dumbbells dropped on her stomach while laid on the floor with hands and feet tied up – this resulted in loss of bowel control
• Was hanged from the ceiling and used as boxing bag
• Was kept in a freezer for several hours
• Had eye lids burned with hot wax and lighters
• Had breasts pierced with sewing needles
• Had her vagina and clitoris burnt with cigarettes and lighters
• Had hot, lit on bulb inserted into her vagina and rubbed until it exploded inside

While she was only one quarter through her ordeal, owing to ongoing beatings, Junko Furuta was unable to breathe through her nose due to accumulation of blood in her cavities. Her traumatized internal organs refused to accept food and water so when she tried to drink, she instantly vomited, which not only kept her more dehydrated, it also agitated the perpetrators who punished her with more beating for soiling the carpet.

At one point, when the attackers were resting after drinking, she tried to call the police but was caught and punished by having her feet set on fire with burning lighter fluid. Large bottle the perpetrators forced up her anus caused internal injuries and ugly bleeding.

Severe leg burns and badly bruised muscles left her unable to walk after 20 days of her ordeal. She wasn’t able to handle anything with her hands anymore because her bones were smashed with weights and her fingernails cracked. Since it was winter, she was also forced to sleep on a balcony, exposed to cold temperatures.

After 30 days, Junko Furuta was unable to urinate properly due to damage to internal organs and to vulva from insertion of foreign object and burns from cigarettes and lighters. Her hands and feet were damaged so badly, it took her over an hour to crawl downstairs to the bathroom. Her eardrums were also damaged and brain size was reduced.

Junko Furuta’s Death

During the course of 44 days when she was repeatedly tortured, beaten and raped, Junko Furuta begged her captors several times to just kill her and be done with it. They didn’t grant her that favor. Instead, on January 4, 1989, they challenged her to a game of Mahjong solitaire. She won and that pissed the boys off so they treated her to a beating with an iron barbell and fire by setting her legs, arms, face and stomach alight after pouring lighter fluid on them. Being already badly beaten, dehydrated and malnutritioned, Junko Furuta fell into a shock and died the following day.

The murderers stuffed the dead girl’s body in a 55-gallon drum filled with concrete and disposed of it in Koto, Tokyo.

Junko Furuta Captors Identified

The names of four main captors who kidnapped, tortured, raped and murdered Junko Furuta were withheld by the Japanese court because they were juveniles, however the journalists from the Shūkan Bunshun magazine dug them out and publish them stating that after what they did to Junko Furuta, they don’t deserve anyone to uphold their human rights:

• Hiroshi Miyano (宮野裕史) – 18 year old at the time of the crime. Changed his name to Hiroshi Yokoyama (横山裕史)
• Jō Ogura (小倉譲) – 18 year old at the time of the crime. Changed his name to Jō Kamisaku (神作譲)
• Shinji Minato (湊伸治) – 16 year old at the time of the crime, some sources refer to him as Nobuharu Minato
• Yasushi Watanabe (渡邊恭史) – 17 year old at the time of the crime

All four perpetrators were caught and tried. However because they were all underaged when the crime was committed, they were to be tried as juveniles, but eventually faced sentences of adults, except that the court withheld their identities. Still, given the severity of their crimes, the sentences they were handed out were rather low. By now, each of them is already out of jail. Three of the boys served less than 8 years, the leader was originally sentenced to 17 years in prison, but after his appeal, instead of lowering his sentence, judge Ryūji Yanase bumped his sentence to 20 years. The same judge also increased the sentenced for two bore boys who appealed. One didn’t so his sentence stayed as was. Either way, they’re all in their late 30′s and all out of jail.

Jo Kamisaku (not his real name), who was released in August 1999 went back to prison in July 2004 for 7 years for the beating of a guy he thought was luring his girlfriend away from him.

Because forensic examiners found sperm and pubic hair of other people on the corpse of Junko Furuta, few more names were linked to her torture and murder:

Junko Furuta’s Story in Popular Culture

Torture and murder of Junko Furuta sparked international outrage and her case inspired several movies and a manga illustrated by Kamata Youji. The most noteworthy movie is Joshikôsei konkuriito-dume satsujin-jiken (女子高生コンクリート詰め殺人事件) aka Concrete-Encased High School Girl Murder Case which was released in 1995. The movie was directed by Katsuya Matsumura and starred Yujin Kitagawa, member of the band Yuzu as the main culprit.

A 2004 independently produced Japanese film Concrete (コンクリート) is also based on the events leading to the murder of Junko Furuta. At least three books were written by Japanese authors who were inspired by the case. There are some that the whole story behind Junko Furuta’s torture and murder is a hoax but it’s definitely not the case. This horrible crime definitely happened, this is not a hoax.

This article expands on the post which contains the story and pictures of Junko Furuta – 16 year old Japanese girl who endured 44 days of rape and torture before she was murdered. In the article I mentioned an independently-produced Japanese movie Concrete (コンクリート Konkurîto) which was inspired by and recounts the story of Junko Furuta.

Because the original Junko Furuta post was already pretty long, I decided to create a new one which would be dedicated solely to the movie Concrete. It is important to keep in mind that Concrete is a dramatization of the events surrounding Junko Furuta’s torture and murder, not a video of actual happenings, plus it is a low budget movie so shock factor for most of us who’ve seen some shit will be non existent.

At the bottom of this post I’m including a few clips from the movie but unless you are a fan of Asia Extreme Cinema, enjoy super cheesy, over-the-top low budget films, or are just plain bored out of your effin mind, you may want to give it a pass. It does not really deliver, but it’s hard to expect more from a movie that didn’t have budget for better production and special effects. Sadly, because of lacking special effects, the movie makes the ordel of the tortured girl seem like it was not too bad. That definitely didn’t happen to be the case of real Junko Furuta.

Concrete Movie Clips

Concrete was filmed in 2004 and was directed by Mira Nair. It is based on the story of Junko Furuta, but all characters bear different names, including the tortured girl whose name in the movie is Misaki. Principal cast included Katsuya Kobayashi, Miki Komori, Masanori Machida, Kensuke Mano, Mika Mifune and Daizô Miyata.

Junko Furuta spent the last Christmas and New Year of her life beaten, burnt, raped, starved and eventually murdered. May yours be better than hers.

Obviously, the midnight movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colorado was a big international news. A high profile event like that is bound to attract a lot of attention and with it – a lot of possible fakery. Everybody is all too keen to see crime scene photos from the Dark Knight shooting and that can propel people into bringing anything up to claim that they have the real crime scene pics.

With this prologue out of my way, I’m sharing these photos with you in belief that they could be genuine crime scene photos of the Aurora massacre aftermath. Blood splatter on the sidewalk looks pretty real to me – in terms of both color and shape. Likewise, the car, the assault rifle James Eagan Holmes used, the ATF agents – everything looks very authentic so there’s a good chance the photos are genuine.

As we all know, crime scenes are quickly contained by the authorities in the first world countries so leakage of genuine photos or videos is not as common as in developing countries. In this case, the photos appear to be aerial so they were either taken from a helicopter or from a nearby tall building, though varying angles tend to hint the helicopter.

Give me your input, Best Gore detectives. What do you reckon? Are these genuine crime photos taken after the Aurora massacre or are we looking at a fugazy?

There seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding the Batman massacre shooting in Aurora, Colorado. More precisely, there is a lot of controversy surrounding the suspect in the shooting – James Holmes.

It would seem that more than a few people think that James Eagan Holmes, former University of Colorado School of Medicine PhD hopeful is not the same as the orange dyed hair shooter responsible for 12 deaths in the Aurora Movie Theater.

Anons on /b/ put together this compilation of photos which raise some interesting question about the authenticity of the shooter. Since there have been many shenanigans governments pulled on people throughout the recent years, I really have no reason to dismiss this as a conspiracy theory. What do you guys think about this controversy? Are we being played on by the powers that be or are people just looking for controversy where there is none?

After Nicole Brown Simpson and her genital juices exchange partner Ronald Goldman were found brutally murdered at the doorsteps to poshy Bundy Drive condo in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles where Nicole Brown Simpson lived, O.J Simpson, former handegg (I’m having a hard time calling that joke of a sport “football”) star and an ex husband of Nicole’s became the prime suspect. The high profile trial which resulted in OJ Simpson’s acquittal drew so much attention from everyone in the USA, it is dubbed the “Trial of the Century“. With OJ Simpson officially found not to have murdered the two, speculations are rampant as to who could have been the murderer. In spite of his acquittal, most seem to think that the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman was most certainly OJ Simpson’s doing.

OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown Bumping Nasties

After his 1979 divorce from his first wife Marguerite L. Whitley with whom he had 3 children, OJ Simpson married Nicole Brown on February 2, 1985. He was a celebrity handegg player and an actor so finding a pretty Caucasian woman willing to spread her labia for a black cock was easy. Gold diggers for the win!

From their marriage, Nicole Brown Simpson spawned two kids – Sydney Brooke Simpson and Justin Ryan Simpson but in 1992 an idea occurred to her to divorce the handegg star cause that game of spreading labia for gold nuggets no longer seemed appealing. And so it was written, so it was done – Nicole Brown divorced OJ Simpson.

The Murder

Two years after the divorce, on June 12, 1994 Nicole Brown Simpson along with Ron Goldman were found murdered on the walkway leading to the Nicole’s residence located at located at 875 South Bundy Drive in Los Angeles. Nicole had been stabbed multiple times and had a slash wound on her neck which went all the way to the spine.

Ronald Goldman is believed to have either walked right upon the murder in progress or turn up shortly after. He was likewise stabbed multiple times.

The Ford Bronco Chase

On June 17, 1994, OJ Simpson was expected to turn himself in. He was charged with double murder for which, if found guilty, he could face the death sentence however owing to his celebrity status, the LAPD took a little more lenient approach. More than 1,000 waited at the police station for OJ to show up, but he pulled a bailed on them.

Later that day, his friend Robert Kardashian read a letter from OJ Simpson, the tone of which sounded much like a suicide note. The broadcast of the letter prompted everyone to search for Simpson until someone eventually spotted him in his white Ford Bronco, driven by his friend A.C. Cowlings.

The cops caught up with the Bronco on the Interstate 405 and followed it in a low speed pursuit which became known as the Bronco Chase. A.C. Cowlings told the cops that OJ Simpson held a gun to his hand so his friend, Detective Tom Lange tried to get through to him by calling his cell phone and succeeded. Worried that OJ was gonna off himself, Tom Lange tried to argue him into throwing his gun out of the car’s window.

OJ Simpson on Trial

The infamous Trial of the Century was presided by Judge Lance Ito whom the trial made a celebrity. OJ hired what many dubbed a “Dream Defence Team”. It’s estimated that OJ spent in excess of $3 Million for his defence lawyers, among whom were Johnnie Cochran, Robert Kardashian and F. Lee Bailey. They may have cost a fortune, but they surely knew what they were doing and diligently prepared for anything the prosecution could throw at them.

The prosecution, on the other hand felt like they had a solid case they could not possibly lose and failed to do their due diligence, resulting in mess ups which in the end lead to OJ’s acquittal (and their ultimate defeat).

The People of the State of California vs Orenthal James Simpson trial dragged on for 9 months and quickly became one of the most widely publicized events in American history. On October 3, 1995 more than half of the U.S. population stopped doing whatever they were doing and locked their eyes on the TV screens in anticipation of the jury verdict, making it one of the most watched events in American TV history.

Not Guilty

When it was announced that OJ Simpson was found not guilty of both murders, majority of America’s black population cheered in approval, while majority of America’s white population expressed disbelief over justice not served.

Much of LA’s police force was on high alert in fear that if OJ was found guilty, riots similar to those in 1992 which followed the acquittal of four police officers who beat up black motorist Rodney King would ensue.

What messed up the case for prosecution was the inclusion of LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman as a witness in the case. Mark Fuhrman claimed to have recovered a glove soaked with blood of both murder victims after scaling the wall to the Simpson’s estate on the night of murder. The defence however completely destroyed Mark Fuhrman as a witness and as a detective, nailing him down as a liar and racist who would have planted the evidence.

The glove played further role in losing the trail for the prosecution. Prosecutor Christopher Darden, in spite of an advice not to ask OJ Simpson to try the blood soaked glove on, did fall for the tease by defense attorney Johnnie Cochran and did request it. The glove had been frozen and unfrozen several times and when OJ tried to put it on in the court room, it was too small to fit. In his closing statement as well as several times during the trial, Johnnie Cochran uttered the now infamous line: “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.”

Another mess up on behalf of the prosecution was mishandling of the DNA evidence. Andrea Mazzola who collected blood samples from Simpson carried the vial in her pocket for almost a day before submitting it for testing. This degree of incompetence made it impossible to deliver accurate and reliable DNA results.

Wrongful Death Civil Trial

After his acquittal, the Brown and Goldman families sued OJ Simpson for damages in a civil trial. A jury unanimously found OJ Simpson liable for damages in the wrongful death of Ronald Goldman and battery of Nicole Brown Simpson. Sydney and Justin – children of OJ and Nicole were awarded $12.6 million from OJ Simpson as recipients of their mother’s estate. The Brown and Goldman families were awarded $33.5 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

However because California law protects pensions from being used to satisfy judgments, OJ was able to maintain his lifestyle while paying little to the families. He later moved to Miami in Florida where laws make it impossible for a person to lose their residence to a debt.

Las Vegas Robbery

In September 2007, OJ Simpson with 3 other men took sports memorabilia from a room at the Palace Station hotel-casino for which OJ was charged with criminal conspiracy, assault, kidnapping, robbery, coercion and using a deadly weapon. He was sentenced to a total of 33 years in prison with the possibility of parole after nine years. He is serving his sentence at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.

Travis Alexander was a 30 year old Mormon and motivational speaker from Arizona, USA who made a fatal mistake of getting involved with a psycho woman. He is believed to have been stabbed 27 times by his jealous ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias who also slashed his throat from ear to ear and shot him in the head. Her murder trial began in earlier this year in Arizona.

Jodi Arias was reportedly so obsessed with Travis Alexander, that after he had broken up with her to date another woman, crazy bitch turned to stalking. Then on June 9, 2008 body of Travis Alexander was found brutally murdered in his apartment in Mesa, Arizona. At first Jodi Arias denied any involvement with his death claiming she had not seen the victim on the day of his murder but changed her story to admit that she had seen him, but other two individuals she did not recognize killed him. This version of her story was also changed and now she admits she killed him, but insists that she did it out of self defense, accusing Travis Alexander of having been violent and possessive. She’s facing first degree murder charges to which she pleaded not guilty. If convicted, Jodi Arias could become the 4th woman on Arizona’s death row.

Prosecutor Juan Martinez has images recovered from Travis Alexander’s water-logged camera which show the couple having sex together and the victim posing naked in the shower on the day of his murder. The camera also captured images of Travis Alexander after the murder and a seemingly accidentally snapped photo of Jodi Arias dragging his body.

Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander dated for less than 5 months in 2007. Travis’ corpse was found by his friends who went to check up on him after he’d not been seen for a few days. They made a 911 call in which they described the grizzly scene they found themselves upon.

Self defense my ass. I’m surprised Jodi Arias had not accused someone of rape yet. She’s the type of woman who tries to score every male at a party and then cries that she was raped. Perfect candidate for a role of a single mother.

Relatives of some of the victims of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer give him a piece of their minds in this video, which was recorded at his trial, which lasted two weeks. Born in West Allis, Wisconsin, he murdered 17 young men (his victims were between the ages of 14 and 36) from 1978 and 1991, although most of the murders took place after 1987.

Although he was arrested for drugging and sexually abusing a 13 year old boy in 1988, became a registered sex offender and sentenced to 5 years’ probation, it wasn’t until 1991 that he was arrested for the murders. By the time of his arrest, he was already murdering approximately one person a week. He would often drug and rape his victims. In addition to this, he would also attempt to turn them into little sex zombies by drilling a hole into their skulls and injecting either hydrochloric acid or boiling water into the frontal lobe area of the brain – while they were alive. He also engaged in necrophiliac acts before dismembering the bodies and besides preserving some of the body parts, such as the penis, he would save some of the organs in the fridge for consumption later. At least he was getting his protein, right?

When he was finally arrested, Jeffrey Dahmer was originally indicted on 17 murder charges, which were later reduced to 15, and with the sheer amount of evidence against him, Jeffrey Dahmer pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. However, he was found quite sane and guilty on all murder charges, but because capital punishment had been abolished in Wisconsin, he was sentenced to 15 life terms in prison, which is equivalent to 957 years, the maximum penalty that was available.

Dahmer expressed remorse and “wished for his own death“… well, his wish came true when another inmate, Christopher Scarver (also a convicted murderer), bludgeoned him and yet another killer, Jesse Anderson, to death with a 20 inch metal bar when corrections officers had left the three of them to do janitorial work in 1994. Dahmer died of severe head trauma on the way to the hospital at the age of 34.

The mother of David Thomas, one of the victims, said in the video that she hoped that Jeffrey Dahmer should “never be able to walk the face of the earth or be able to harm anyone else again“. Most of the victims’ families were glad that Jeffrey Dahmer is dead and I certainly don’t blame them.

44 year old Antônio de Sousa Oliveira worked in a Coca Cola plant in Teresina, the capital city in the state of Piauí, Brazil. His wife Sandra Maria said that her husband was attacked by four men which included the local drug dealer known as Pirata (Pirate) and another one known as Mauro. The victim was first shot with two rounds and once incapacitated, the attackers finished him off with a garden hoe to the head.

On May 8, 2013 almost 5 years after she had brutally killed her boyfriend Travis Victor Alexander, Jodi Arias was found guilty of first-degree murder. The mad woman cut Travis Alexander’s throat, stabbed him multiple times and shot him in the head. Best Gore previously featured earlier leaked crime scene photos of Travis Alexander’s killing, now I have a whole lot more photos for you, including some new crime scene photos, a whole whack of autopsy photos as well as explicit photos of both Travis Alexander and Jodi Arias naked which were recovered from a memory card Jodi Arias erased to get rid of the evidence.

Medical Examiner Kevin Horn who testified in the Jodi Arias trial said that according to the autopsy report, Travis Alexander’s jugular vein, common carotid artery, and windpipe had been slashed, his hands had defensive wounds and that by the time the victim was shot in the head, he was probably already dead. Number of stab wounds found on his body were in the neighborhood of 29 (confirmed number has not been produced).

The Jodi Arias trial began on January 2, 2013 in Maricopa County Superior Court. Prosecutor Juan Martinez sought the death penalty, Jodi Arias’ appointed counsel L. Kirk Nurmi and Jennifer Willmott argued that Travis Alexander’s death was a justifiable homicide committed in self-defense. Jodi Arias was found guilty of first degree murder and is facing execution. At the time of this post, jury is still deliberating whether to sentence 32 year old former waitress to death or give in to the pleas by the defence that she would make positive contributions is she was kept alive and send her to prison for life. As of March 29, 2013 public defence for Jodi Arias cost the US taxpayers $1.4 million.

The remains of a murdered man were found in a pink (could it indicate something?) suitcase near the city of Satuba, state of Alagoas (yes, Brazil again). The suitcase was dumped on the outskirts of the city and the putrid smell attracted a few locals who happened to be passing by.

In less than a week, this small city has registered four murders, and the residents are afraid this could be the work of a serial killer, even though police can’t confirm this possibility at the moment.

A local woman, whose son is missing, claims to be unaware if he was involved in illegal activities, although it hasn’t been established if he is in fact the victim found in the suitcase.

Police suspect that due to the increased police forces on the nearby city of Pilar, criminality has migrated to surrounding cities. It’s a simple concept in the mind of a criminal, “well, hum… I can’t commit crimes here, too many cops… Oh I know, I’ll do it over there! Yeah, that’s it! Less police = good”.

I once had plans to visit Brazil, but honestly, I wouldn’t go there anymore even if I was paid.

On the night of January 3rd, 2014, 25 year old Luiz Carlos Wichnecki (nickname Kiko) met his end by being shot 27 times by gunmen armed with pistols (9mm and .45) and a 12 gauge shotgun in front of his residence in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná – Brazil.

He was approached by a car and the occupants identified themselves as police. As soon as they exited the vehicle they shot Luiz as many times as they could, probably until running out of ammo. The majority of the shots appear to have hit his abdomen, causing the intestines to spill over. He was also shot in the legs and chest. Despite the savagery of the attack and his wounds, investigators claimed he didn’t die immediately. Must have been quite a site seeing his guts hanging from his belly and knowing he was truly done for.

According to police, Mr. Wichnecki (sounds Eastern European to me) was being investigated for a series of crimes, including robberies in luxury hotels. Not wanting to make anticipated presumptions, this seems to be one of those deaths that were very well deserved. He doesn’t appear that innocent to me and who knows, maybe he killed people before. And if not, he did cause other people suffering with his crimes. Live by the sword, die by the sword. A life of poverty is preferable to one of crime. At least poor people have integrity, and that is very respectable.

When I was growing up in the outer bayside suburbs of Brisbane, Australia in the 1980s I rarely saw a black person or an Asian except on TV. There was no crime, the house was permanently unlocked and I would roam for miles around with my brothers and our friends trying out ideas to catch yabbies, launch projectiles and explode stuff.

By the 1990s there were increasing numbers of fresh migrants from exotic locations. School devolved into a rougher place and my neighbours began having things stolen from their yards and houses. Graffiti started to appear around public places and telephone boxes became a target for rocks.

I’m not so naive to suggest all that crime was perpetrated by the immigrants. What I am saying though, is that the decline in societal values coincided with a shift in the ethnic dynamics of my community. The population of my childhood community approximately doubled over a period of 10 years from the mid 1980s to mid 1990s. I don’t know the exact percentages of white versus non white influx into the area, but I would suggest a fair guess would be 10-20% of new residents were from a range of backgrounds including Africa, East Asia, Pacific Islands, India and the Middle East.

You might say at this point that the crime may have been due to the 80% of new white residents, and you might be right. Not having access to the crime and police booking records, I simply don’t know. However, if school is a barometer for society as a whole, my personal observation was that the vast majority of antisocial behaviour was performed by non-white students.

A lot is made by the do-gooder excuse makers about self identification as a minority and the seeking out of like individuals and antisocial tendencies based on feelings of isolation. These excuse makers peer review each other’s work and declare each other experts, seek government advisory positions and before you know it they are influencing policy and program funding. In short order it becomes the official line that degenerate behaviour amongst minority groups is caused by lack of acceptance from the wider community of these people who are ‘different’ and that clearly there is an underlying racial stereotyping.

Police in Australia are not supposed to stop people and ask them what they are doing or check identification based on racial profiles. And I say fair enough. However, I absolutely want the police to ask a group of black people or islanders what they are doing if they are standing on a corner where people have reported being accosted by people matching that racial profile.

When prisons are disproportionately populated by particular racial groups, the inference should not be that the society from which the minorities are coming is fostering criminal behaviour by reducing opportunity for minorities. The inference should be that there is an inextricable link between the racial group and criminal delinquency because the culture within that group is inconsistent with cultural values of larger population. The shift needs to be made by the group which is not meeting the larger expectation, not the other way around.

It is only through identifying the real causes for delinquency that you solve a problem. Current programs aimed at reducing crime amongst minority populations don’t work despite the significant money poured into them. This is because these programs are largely about making excuses and shifting blame to deficiencies of opinion of the wider general society.

I am certainly not an expert on societal evolution between the various populations of people on the earth. But I don’t need to be to make observations and draw some generalised conclusions. Nor do you, and unless everyone is willing to do such things as use their brain to draw their own conclusions about observations, we will remain bound by the deductions of a few who essentially dictate debate and opinion for us all.

Making your own observations and drawing conclusions is easy. Debating your observations and conclusions is easy. Taking on opinions and conclusions of others is easy. Developing your opinions into a more sophisticated and informed conclusion is also easy. It is about making a start, building up in steps, and keeping an open mind.

These are not processes outside the grasp or capacity of the general population, however, they are processes which are not encouraged and are actively stymied through moderation of your language, your forums and general discourse. You are threatened with the label of racism for identifying trends related to race. Similarly you are threatened with the label of sexism for identification of trends based on gender. The reality is that the two primary ways of breaking down and finding patterns within a population, something our brain is designed to do, is to separate based on physically distinguishing traits. The easiest to separate on are gender and race, because they are the easiest to observe. It is not a case of simplifying complexity because the observer is incapable of higher order assessment through ignorance or prejudice. It is the first step, something to be built on and developed through engaged discussion, further observations and informed deductions.

All too often debate and conversations are shut down by the labelling of an opinion expresser. We are told our observation or opinion is simplistic, ignorant, racist etc. I don’t dispute that very often the person may well be putting forward a simplistic or ignorant opinion. We see it all the time in the comments on BestGore. But to shut down and banish someone for being at the start of a process of learning or opinion forming is a far greater crime than being uninformed.

As for the label of being a racist, I admit again that I see many comments posted on BestGore and other forums which seemingly target groups simply because of their race. However not all of these are examples of racism.

Racism is the determination of superiority of one race over another, and or favourable treatment of one race over another based on prejudice.

So if you decide you don’t want to date a black person because you don’t find black skin to be personally attractive, that is not racism. If you own a shop and won’t serve that black person because they are black, that is racism.

If you observe that the physiology of a black person enables them to run faster in a 100 metre race, that is not racist. If you observe that white people are able to live in low light environments without developing Vitamin D deficiencies due to physiological adjustment, that is not racist.

If you observe that societal development in European countries are evolved around seasonal variations and the necessity for an inherently cohesive unity to meet the needs of gathering, storing and surviving, that is not racism.

If you observe that societal development in sub Saharan African countries do not require the same seasonal variability planning of European regions, therefore the societies generally don’t appear to be as cohesive, that is not racism.

If you say one societal behaviour is better than the other regardless of the geographic location of that society, because of a racial prejudice, that is racism. But if you say your preference is that the norms of your society be complied with by a person entering your society from another, I don’t see this as racist, unless you ostracise that person without giving them an opportunity to meet your expectations.

Debate on multiculturalism in countries like Australia, Britain, the US etc, shift a desire for harmony and mutual expectation based on the principals of the base society from one of being about maintaining a lifestyle consistent with established values, to one of accusing the white societies centred on unity and cohesion of being racist.

The best defence against the destructive shut down of debate of important issues such as multiculturalism is to maintain dignity in your approach. Being labeled can be an emotional experience, it can make you feel belittled and vilified. It is an easy shutdown technique with sticking power. Dignity means maintaining your cool and staying out of a personal attacking game. Instead point out that the opinion expressed about you is ignorant and offensive. Address the behaviour, not the individual. And never let the name calling become the focus of the debate. Stay on topic, stay to the facts and your observations and always acknowledge the difference between the two.

We should all be prepared to talk amongst our friends, family, extended networks and social forums about issues that impact on is without the fear of zealots with ulterior motives and agendas hijacking and controlling debate and thought through intimidation and unfounded labelling. We all need to be prepared to engage in the discussion about our future and the future of our children.

Today’s edition of Best Gore Members Rock is brought to you by Best Gore member harleyQ, who has become pretty well-known throughout our community for her medical expertise. She works as a medical examiner assistant in Los Angeles, California and cleans up crime scenes as part of her own side business. And this is where our story begins, at a crime scene cleanup. I will let harleyQ describe it in her own words:

The first pic is of my neck with petechiae (usually happens when one
is choked or strangled, the dots appear due to all the capillaries in
the face and head bursting due to build up of pressure or lack of
oxygen) my whole face and neck were covered in them. The second photo
is my eye. That’s blood sitting in my eye after the blood vessels
burst from the pressure that built up in my head due to being choked
out. This was 2 days after the incident, the first day my eye was full
of the blood. The problem is I have hemophilia, which means my blood
doesn’t clot, so I almost bled out.

It’s not very Gorey but the incident was very extreme. I was cleaning
up a drug deal gone wrong scene around 3am one night when a few thugs
showed up looking for the drugs and money. I was alone, so I suffered
their wrath. I was beaten with a bat and my mop that was covered in
blood from the scene. When the mop broke, I was able to get my gun and
fire off a shot, got one of the guys in the gut. The others ran off
except one of the guys decided he wasn’t done with me so he choked me
til I blacked out.

I’m ok now and mostly healed, I suffered some fractures in my face and
lots of soreness. I still have some vision problems due to the blood,
but I’m ok. Also I’m pretty pissed cause my gun is sitting in evidence
lock up because the stupid thug died.
